Hot Cocoa on the Set
Warm up your winter with the ladies of The Real Beta Alpha Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated for Hot Cocoa on the Set.☕️❄️🍫 Join us on January 10th from 2:13 pm - 3:37 pm at The Delta Plot for a sweet escape!🥰 Students are asked to donate health care supplies for the Ghana Medical Brigade and, in return, will receive hot chocolate 🇬🇭♥️ Accepted Donations🩺: Child and adult size toothbrushes, shampoo (travel size), toothpaste (travel size and regular size), dental floss, bar soap, paper lunch bags, ziplock sandwich bags, BIC pens, alcohol prep pads, hand sanitizer (40 fl oz recommended), thermometers (Infrared), thermometers (Ear), duct tape, garbage bags (1 box of 20-25 bags) box of gloves (Small / Medium / Large sizes) and paper towels.

Black Authors Book Drive
Help the REAL Beta Alpha Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta protect Black History! We will be collecting books that are included in the Florida-Banned AP African American History Curriculum on Thursday, November 16th at the Delta Plot🔺or via our Amazon Registry. Books will be donated to participants of the Tallahassee Alumnae Chapter’s Youth Empowerment Summit. You can find the link to our book wishlist in our Bio! 💻
We will be at the Plot from 2:00 PM–4:00 PM to share the bills and statements 📜 that work to eliminate Black History from school curriculums. We will also share the statement from the NPHC Council of Presidents regarding this matter.
While all books are appreciated, we prefer books and literature from the authors below:
Toni Morrison, Zora Neale Hurston, Ta-Nehisi Coates, Angela Y. Davis, Bell Hooks and Roderick Ferguson.

Sweater Weather: Warm Essentials Donation Drive
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Join The REAL Beta Alpha Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., for a season of giving! Drop items off on the second floor of Coleman Library or in the lobbies of Sampson or Young residence halls on November 30th-December 3rd. Items requested are newly packaged warm essentials such as blankets, scarves, hats, coats, socks, etc. All donations will be given to the Big Bend Homeless Coalition. Happy Holidays!
